His Presence

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. Matthew 18:20

Closing church doors may seem like an end, a chapter closed, or a sacred space now unavailable. But in truth, the heart of the church has never been about the building, music, or sermon. It's about hearts united in the pursuit of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The early believers knew this well. Before grand cathedrals and impressive church buildings, believers gathered in homes, open fields, and secret underground locations, driven to know Christ and make Him known. The physical location was secondary; the presence of Jesus was essential.

As we close our doors, remember that our pursuit of Christ does not end here. May we be motivated to find Christ in our homes, workplaces, and communities in everyday moments. While we may not gather weekly in a familiar setting, our relationship with Jesus remains. Pursue Him by diving deeper into His Word, find comfort in prayer, and let His presence fill every space of your life.

Brothers and sisters of The Well Church, more than ever, the world needs the hope, love, peace, and grace that Jesus offers. Let us not hide our light but shine even brighter, reflecting Christ in our actions, words, and deeds.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:25 (NLT)
