adieu

As I write my last Pastor's Corner to you, The Well Church, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and a deep sense of blessedness. It's hard to believe that it has been eight years since I began my journey as your pastor. These years have been filled with moments of spiritual growth, joy, and a deep sense of community, and it is all thanks to you, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

I am grateful for your unwavering support, love, and faithfulness over these years. Your prayers, encouragement, and countless acts of kindness have sustained my family and me through both the joys and challenges of ministry. I can honestly say that I would not be the pastor I am today without your loving support.

Together, we have walked a path of faith, seeking to follow the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe that your commitment to love God and one another has not only transformed our church but has also been a powerful witness to those around us.

Dear Church, please know that our shared love and memories will always hold a special place in my heart. The friendships forged, the lessons learned, and the moments of worship and fellowship we have experienced together are treasures I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Although this chapter of our journey is ending, please know that you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Please feel free to reach out to me whenever you need guidance or want to catch up. I'm here for you and will always be your pastor and friend.

Before I say goodbye, allow me to share a blessing from God's Word, found in Numbers 6:24-26:

The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

May these words bring comfort, assurance, and peace to your hearts as you continue to pursue Christ and stand firm in the truth of His Word. Know that you are loved and cherished not only by your pastor but by our heavenly Father.

Thank you once again for being an extraordinary church family. May God continue to bless each of you abundantly as you carry His light into the world.

Love,
Pastor Jay
